Korean makkoli

Korean makkoli, or makgeolli, is sweet rice wine native to Korea. Traditionally, makkoli is made from rice but some variants are made from wheat. It's a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage, milky, sweet, fizzy and refreshing. Though you can hardly taste the alcohol in it, it's more potent than beer, so indulge with caution.
